Foreign minors of legal school age may apply for a study-type residence permit per the Interim Measures for the Administration of the Enrollment of Foreign Students by Primary and Secondary Schools (Ministry of Education Order No. 4, 1999).

达到法定入学年龄的外国未成年人可根据《中小学招收外国学生管理暂行办法》（教育部令1999年第4号）申请学习型居留许可。
